Google Wave Hype Drowning Bing

Although Bing and Wave represent two entirely different uses of the internet and cannot really be compared, we're going to do what we can. From the offset, Wave easily takes the upper hand in naming. Bing is not a verb and I don't really feel comfortable using it that way. But Wave is already a verb and it has a cool essence about it, a "riding the wave" of success kind of feel.

Sure Bing redefines "searching" but we have a search engine ... and coming on the heels of Wolfram Alpha, Bing isn't 100% revolutionary. But Wave brings a new element to the tech world that is unlike anything else we've found out there. So the Wave wins and will probably continue to win as Microsoft struggles to pick up the pieces of its shattered release of Bing.
